About the team
This position is part of our back-office team, supporting the internal operations of the company.
About the role
We are looking for a Chief Accountant to manage international payments, multi-country reporting, contractor finances, and etc.

Responsibilities
- Contractor management, including invoicing and remuneration calculations
- End-to-end payment cycle management: invoice collection, payment processing for contractors, vendors, and employees
- Full payroll ownership and delivery for both Polish and Belarusian offices (gross payroll), including coordination and control of payroll calculations in Poland for employees and B2B contractors. Accuracy and compliance are highly important
- Execution of international banking transfers and payments via Wise, HSBC, Moss, Ebury, and PKO Bank (Poland)
- Service cost calculation and client invoicing in Xero, with ongoing payment tracking and control
- Maintenance of UK accounting records and preparation of data for statutory tax reporting in Xero
- Management accounting in Xero for multiple jurisdictions (Poland, Belarus, UAE)
- Preparation of consolidated international management financial statements for the UK, Poland, Belarus, and UAE, including:
- Profit & Loss
- Cash Flow Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Coordination with external accountants in the UK, Belarus, Poland, and the UAE, including review of VAT and Corporation Tax calculations
- Corporate card expense tracking and reconciliation (Moss)
- Ongoing oral communication with English-speaking accountants and financial partners
Requirements
- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 6+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- English proficiency at B1+ level or higher
- Strong knowledge of management accounting and financial analysis
- Hands-on experience with Xero (strong advantage)
- Experience working with electronic document management systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Previous experience in the IT sector
