About the role
Supersonic from Unity is seeking a talented Motion Designer to join our Creative Team. As a key member of the team, you’ll craft stunning videos for mobile ads that captivate millions of users globally while driving growth and innovation in our campaigns. We're on the lookout for passionate, boundary-pushing individuals ready to make a real impact in the gaming industry.
Our creative team specializes in hyper-casual, hybrid-casual, and casual games, focusing on boosting engagement in our most successful titles. With over 100 published games and more than 4.9 billion downloads worldwide, Supersonic is focused on providing top-notch entertainment.

As a Motion Designer within our creative ads team, you’ll leverage your artistic and technical expertise to deliver visually stunning, optimized, and engaging videos for our game ads.

Responsibilities
- Create engaging ads. Develop compelling mobile video ads for user acquisition campaigns including gameplay recordings, 2D and 3D animated motion graphics. Utilize tools like Unity, After Effects, and Blender to craft dynamic animations that enhance ad experiences.
- Pipeline collaboration. Working across new and existing game pipelines to ensure cohesive and efficient production workflows.
- Visual research & creative innovation. Analyzing competitors trends, researching art references and common creative flow, experiment with new ideas.
- Performance focus. Gain insights into how your creations perform and why, ensuring they drive marketing success.
- Team collaboration. Actively participating in creative discussions, offering feedback, and driving innovation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years as a motion designer, with 1-2 years in mobile gaming
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing 3D art, 2D animation, and motion design projects with a focus on gaming-related work
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Unity, Photoshop, After Effects, and 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender). Experience with Spine or Mixamo is a plus
- Versatility: A generalist skill set with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt styles to fit diverse games
- Video insight: A solid understanding of player engagement through animation
- Mindset: A proactive, problem-solving approach and a willingness to experiment and iterate for optimal solutions
- Collaboration skills: Excellent communication, a team-focused attitude, and openness to seeking help or clarification when needed
