About the role
This role is central to our growth strategy and requires a balance of analytical prowess and creative thinking. You will join an existing high-performing growth team, taking full ownership of the user acquisition strategy for one of our core mobile AI products.
While you will manage and coordinate a diversified channel mix (Meta, AppLovin, ASA), this role is primarily for a Google Search (SEM) + Google App Campaigns (UAC) expert who can own these channels end-to-end and scale profitable spend.
You will work closely with Product, Data, and Engineering to align acquisition strategy with onboarding, monetization, and retention to turn product improvements into measurable growth.

Responsibilities
- Product growth: co-own the growth trajectory of one of our mobile AI apps together with the product manager, align on strategies to drive accelerated growth such as pricing experiments, user journeys, messaging and creatives
- Channel Strategy & Search Excellence: Manage a full-stack acquisition budget (Meta, Applovin, ASA), with a specific focus on optimizing and scaling Google Search to capture high-intent traffic
- Google Search & UAC Ownership: Own strategy and execution for Google Search and UAC (account structure, bidding strategy, measurement, creative/assets, experimentation, and scaling)
- Measurement & Attribution: Ensure clean conversion signals (app + web where relevant), value optimization, cohort measurement, and incrementality approaches when attribution is noisy
- Budget Management & Scaling: Develop strategies to scale marketing budgets effectively while optimizing for ROI, LTV, and profitability metrics
- Creative Testing & Optimization: Collaborate with creative teams to propose, test, and refine new marketing angles, ad creatives, and campaign strategies
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Build regular performance reports and dashboards to monitor campaign metrics (CAC, ROAS, retention rates, etc.) and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, data, and engineering teams to ensure seamless tracking, attribution, and audience segmentation.
- Experimentation: Develop and implement robust testing frameworks (A/B testing, incrementality tests) to drive continuous improvements in user acquisition and retention
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate anomalies or significant shifts in marketing performance. Proactively identify and address factors affecting campaign effectiveness.
- Strategic Growth: Provide thought leadership on emerging marketing trends and tools, shaping 44pixels’ broader growth strategy across our suite of mobile AI applications
Requirements
- 4-6 years in performance marketing / UA for consumer mobile apps with deep hands-on Google Search and/or UAC ownership
- Proven track record scaling Google spend while maintaining profitability targets (ROAS/LTV/CAC/payback)
- Strong understanding of mobile measurement constraints (privacy, attribution lag) and how to operate with imperfect signals
- Proactive and out-of-the-box thinking - always finding new and innovative ways to drive growth
- Demonstrated success in scaling budgets across platforms such as Meta, Google UAC or Search, Applovin, and Apple Search Ads (optional)
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to dissect data, uncover insights, and translate them into strategic improvements
- Self-organization capabilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate data, and form independent judgments
- Commercial grasp with the ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
- Integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgment
- Readiness to work in office 3 days per week
Nice to have
- Foundational knowledge of mobile gaming, ad-tech, and subscription-based business models
- Experience with advanced marketing analytics tools (attribution platforms, cohort analyses, predictive LTV modeling)
- Experience in launching and scaling subscription or mobile consumer apps
- Professional experience in quantitative or analytical roles in tech, finance, or consulting
- Academics in math, economics, or another science-focused subject
