About the role

As a Creative Strategist / Copywriter, you will own the "Thinking Function" of our creative department. You will serve as the bridge between User Acquisition (Data), Creative Production (Execution), and Product to bridge the gap between high-level brand strategy and the granular reality of user acquisition.

In many organizations, creativity is a guessing game; here, your goal is to ensure every ad is rooted in data, analysis, and strategy. You will fuel our high-velocity testing engine with high-quality, researched, and structured concepts.

You will work in a creative pair alongside Motion Designers and Video Editors, translating dry user insights into scroll-stopping hooks and scripts that drive massive scale.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Briefing & Ideation: Own the concepting process. You will own the concepting process, writing detailed briefs that define the angle, tension, hook, and script before production begins
  • Competitive Intelligence: You don't just scroll TikTok; you live inside tools like AdHeart, BrandWatch, and Sensor Tower. Conduct continuous competitive monitoring and user insight mining. You monitor competitors' active funnels, dissect their scaling offers, and identify opportunities to counter-position our products
  • Performance Analysis: Partner with the UA team to analyze creative performance. You will deconstruct why ads win or lose and feed those learnings back into the production loop.
  • Direct Response Copywriting: Craft compelling narrative and scripts designed to hook users instantly. You understand how to adapt messaging for different market development phases — knowing when to educate the market vs. when to differentiate against established competitors.
  • Creative Collaboration: Strategies often die in the edit. You will collaborate closely with editors to ensure the creative output matches your strategic intent.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in creative strategy, copywriting, or performance marketing (best if for mobile apps or SaaS) with at least 3+ years of experience. You have moved beyond just "writing copy" and have seen enough scale to know that tactics fade, but strategy is permanent
  • Undertsanding of the marketing fundamentals. You are familiar with concepts of competitive advantage, immutable laws of positioning, and how to assess market maturity. You can apply these high-level theories to a 15-second Facebook ad
  • Proficiency with ad intelligence tools. You know how to reverse-engineer a competitor's funnel to understand their strategy. You don't guess; you dig. You are comfortable analyzing competitors, reading user reviews, and identifying opportunities
  • AI Native. You use AI tools to accelerate your research, scripting, and concepting workflows
