About the role
We’re looking for a Senior UA Manager to take full ownership of user acquisition for our mobile-first web products.
You’ll be responsible for building the UA strategy, managing acquisition channels, and working closely with product and development teams to continuously improve the web funnel — from landing pages and quizzes to onboarding, checkout and paywalls.
You'll run UA at Old School as a solo function, owning paid acquisition end to end: setting the strategy, running campaigns and reporting results. You'll work directly with the company lead and should come in with a plan and clear recommendations. Our products are mobile-first web apps, and users reach them through web funnels.

Responsibilities
- Build the UA strategy: channel mix, budgets, benchmarks and KPIs.
- Launch and scale install and in-app event campaigns on Google Ads (App campaigns) and Apple Search Ads.
- Run and scale Meta and TikTok, and test other social and paid channels.
- Own measurement: MMP setup, SKAN and ATT strategy, event mapping, and cohort ROAS and LTV.
- Drive creative testing and work with design on ad creatives and store assets.
- Report weekly on spend, installs, CPI, CPA, retention, ROAS and payback, and advise leadership on next steps.
Requirements
- 5+ years in mobile app UA or performance marketing.
- Must: a strong track record growing native iOS and Android apps with paid media.
- Senior, hands-on experience with Google Ads (App campaigns) and Apple Search Ads.
- Strong experience with Meta and TikTok, and familiarity with other social channels.
- Deep knowledge of iOS and Android best practices: ATT, SKAdNetwork, Google Play policies and
- store optimization basics.
- Experience with an MMP and cohort analysis (retention, LTV, ROAS curves).
- Has built a UA strategy, benchmarks and KPIs themselves and can defend them to a CEO.
- Self-driven and comfortable working as a one-person function.
- Clear spoken English and excellent written English.
